Our event graphics for Ansett Aviation
Aviation, style and technology are inherently linked. So, when we were asked to create a video for Ansett Aviation Training, we wanted to create an elegant piece of futuristic animation that would really 'take off'.
The video, promoting the state-of-the-art training facility, blends the old and the new - because these are both core aspects of the Ansett Aviation Training brand.
The facility, near Melbourne Airport, is incredibly modern. It houses 13 full flight simulators and an A320 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer, making it the largest independent simulator training centre in the Southern Hemisphere. But its history is long and rich, dating back to 1936 when Sir Reginald Ansett founded 'Ansett Airways'.
We wanted to capture this long legacy by blending in some quirky old fashioned music, juxtaposed with the imagery of spectacularly translucent planes.
Animation was an effective way to capture the various facets of this brand, while evoking an aspirational yet lighthearted mood. The tagline reads 'A centre for excellence'. We think this stylist, minimalist animation is a testament to just that.
