eSports Broadcast Design

With approximately 148 million fans around the world and event viewership that rivals the Super Bowl, eSports is moving away from the fringes and towards the mainstream.

But how can you capitalise on a market that is predicted to reach over US$1.5 billion by 2020? The right broadcast design can go a long way…

As Jumbla’s Creative Director Callan Woolcock explains:

“Our clients come to us looking for logos, lower thirds, scorecards, ladders, background animations…all kinds of different graphic elements that you can bring together to create a coherent eSports broadcast design package,” he said.

Benefits of eSports broadcast design

  • Range of versatile assets - complete broadcast design package

  • Event graphics for teams, competitions etc

  • Editable text fields for easy use

Versatility is a priority

Not only do we create a wide range of broadcast design assets, we also make sure they can be edited and adjusted after delivery.

“All of our work is created in a way that allows the client to edit it or insert additional elements,” Callan said. “For example, they may fade some text differently or change the order of the animation.”

This versatility extends to other eSports applications.

“Because we also specialise in event graphics, we can offer broadcast design for eSports competitions too,” Callan said.

Forza eSports broadcast package

Jumbla partnered Axis Animation to develop a broadcast package for the first season of the Forza eSports competition.

The package included intros, stings, leaderboards, lower thirds and other elements for eSports use.
