Jumbla takes web and broadcast gongs at AEAF awards

Jumbla’s push to cement itself as Australia’s leading short-form animation and motion graphics studio gained traction with recent recognition across four categories in the 2018 Animation and Effects Awards Festival (AEAF).

The Melbourne-based outfit took bronze in the ident broadcast category for its production of A Different Lens for Monash University, another bronze for its online commercial promoting the ZOTAC Masters Cup eSport event (pictured above) in the web / viral category, and five finalist nominations.

Jumbla’s Executive Creative Director Callan Woolcock said he was proud of the work being produced by the studio.

“It’s always nice to get industry recognition,” Callan said. “I think we had some pretty strong entries across the board this year, including the Suzuki Swift TVC, Fernwood Fitness online commercial and League of Legends reveal.

“We just want to keep improving everything we do.”
