# Our event explainer for Sustainable Table

With the global population set to increase from 7 to 10 billion people by just 2050, something needs to be done before food runs out.

Sustainable Table is asking people to “give a fork” about the serious issue of food sustainability.

It’s a young and innovative non-profit organisation that empowers people to use their shopping dollar to *vote* for a food system that is fair, humane and good for the environment.

This clip was created to promote its campaign around sustainable seafood. The project, which took about two weeks to complete, was donated by Jumbla.
