HotDoc is Australia’s most popular patient engagement platform, used by thousands of GPs all throughout Australia - and even more patients.
Via the HotDoc website, patients can easily book in appointments with their preferred doctor, at their preferred practice - reinventing the appointment booking process to be more streamlined, simple and modern.
We wanted our explainer video for HotDoc to reflect these notions - as well as HotDoc’s core values of continuity of care, innovation and trust.
Through the video, we needed to communicate the importance of strong partnerships between GPs and patients, and the positive impact these relationships have on patient health and wellbeing.
"HotDoc approached us with the intention of creating a video that was different and more higher-end than what they’d done in the past," said Jumbla Motion Designer Glen Miralles.
"In terms of look and style, they were really open towards anything, which was great. We got to pitch characters and backgrounds that were attune to our own style.
"In the end we settled for a good middle ground between our own aesthetic and their vision, which made for a very elegant and onbrand animation."
