Our educational video for the Department of Health

This video, for the Victorian Department of Health, is a great example of how animation can be used to disseminate critical information - as an alternative to pages of long text on a website.

It explains some key aspects of the Food Act, which ensures food bought and sold in Victoria is safe to eat. The target market is primarily those who may not have received training in this field - such as volunteers or community group members.

As such, the message needed to be consumable (excuse the pun). We wanted it to be informative and enjoyable to watch.

The video involved a lot of healthy (excuse another pun) collaboration with the client, to ensure we got the message and style right.

The end result is a video that doesn’t scare people off from holding sausage sizzles, cake stalls and other events - but rather, encourages people to take the right precautions with food so there are no sore stomachs!
