So, it turns out we’re the Meryl Streep of the Horizon Interactive Awards. We’re thrilled to have picked up six major accolades, including two “best in categories” – which is only given to the one top entry in that respective category.
The Horizon Interactive Awards is a prestigious international competition that recognises outstanding achievement among media producers. Last year there were over 1100 entries from across the world, including almost all 50 American states and 21 countries.
Now in its 15th year, it seeks to uncover the “best of the best” across a broad range of categories, such as websites, videos, mobile apps, advertisements and more.
Here are the nods we’re thrilled to have taken home:
Best in Category for Broadcast video for “Zoos Victoria”
Best In Category for Motion graphics for “Grey Goo”
Gold Motion Graphics for “Carben”
Gold Motion Graphics for “Lumeo”
Gold for motion graphics for “Polished Man”
Silver motion graphics “AGDA”
Entries were judged by an international panel of industry professionals in the fields of interactive media and advertising. Judges were seeking to award those who managed the right balance between creativity and functionality.
More specifically, each entry was judged on the grounds of: solution creativity and originality, overall graphic design/appearance/user experience, communication of message, technical merit and effectiveness of solution.
BEST IN CATEGORY WINNERS
Zoos Victoria is a TV commercial that combines 2D, 3D and live-action, to tell the story of three Victorian Zoos and their contribution to the fight against animal extinction. We’re thrilled it took home Best in Category for broadcast video.
